Our Role

Do you hold a clean UK C1, D1 and D1E driving licence and looking for a change?

Windracers design, manufacture and operate uncrewed autonomous drones that provide an essential logistics platform and solution within the mail and parcel, humanitarian assistance, defence, and environmental sectors and operate at the forefront of uncrewed, autonomous aviation industry.

We are looking to expand our team and welcome someone confident in logistics with perhaps a keen interest in flying UAVs and methodical mindset to recruit into our newly created role of UAV & Logistics Operative.

In this exciting role you will provide an invaluable contribution regarding operational logistics and planning tasks to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and deployments, ensuring the coordination and safe delivery of assets in the most cost effective and efficient yet safe manner, allowing Windracers to deliver to internal and external stakeholders, keeping our UAVs in flight, before taking to flight yourself flying our state of the art UAVs across various flight locations!

This role might suit someone with previous logistics coordination experience, moving and removals, military or comparable background. It you don’t have any UAV experience; don’t worry we can train you but a keen interest in this field and driving experience is a must.

Our offices are based in Chilworth, Southampton but this role will require you to be able to be flexible (with notice) in your approach with the opportunity to travel (home and abroad), work location, periods away from home, working hours and weekend working due to its operational fly requirements. Typically, 60% plus of this role will be out in the field gaining exciting new experiences. You will also have to satisfy relevant security and aviation vetting as required and the appropriate right to work must be held by applicants. Sponsorship is not available.
