Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Stores/Parts Advisor to join our PDI Centre in Lawford Heath. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30, with a 30 minute lunch break.

You will be directly involved with our PDI technicians, administrators and Managers ensuring relevant supplies are available.

Role and Responsibilities

Order Preparation: You will be responsible for pre-picking packs for the workshop job cards, picking parts for customer orders and checking availability of stock from various sources.
Taking in-bound and making out-bound telephone calls, you will be developing inter-site relationships through providing good product knowledge and creating an effective first impression.
Stock Control: Ensuring consumables and service parts are regularly replenished providing a swift service to our workshop and other departments.
Complete audits and stock control ensuring end of month totals are accurate and completing all relevant administration promptly and accurately.

About you

  • Ideally you will have gained Motor Factor knowledge in a similar role with another franchise or specialist parts company
  • Confidence, resilience, drive, energy and talent
  • A well-presented individual with a desire, character and attitude to succeed
  • The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers
