Overview
The Dealing Executive will provide service excellence for our customers and colleagues. They will undertake execution-only dealing across UK/International equities and trade support, whilst supporting projects to drive innovation and change. The Dealing Executive will ensure full adherence to the regulatory framework, supporting the growth of the Link Group business model, building strong and enduring relationships with stakeholders and our partners.
The role is based on a hybrid basis from our Gresham Street office in London, so you will need to live within a commutable distance.

What you’ll be doing:
• The execution of client orders, in line with best execution procedures and management of limit orders
• Working closely with Dealers to manage the flow of trading, checking trades and providing support where necessary.
• Develop a strong working relationship with all stakeholders, both internal and external, as well as ensuring delivery of a cohesive and professional level of customer service
• Using your initiative to identify and resolve trading related queries so that all tasks are completed accurately and meet internal SLA’s and external regulatory guidelines
• Ensuring regulatory reporting requirements are managed and completed within the agreed timeframes
• Providing a point of escalation for teams, supporting complex issues and queries
• Assisting with internal and external audit
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative guidelines, with specific focus on FCA best execution and dealing rules
• Working towards SMCR

What we’re looking for:
• The drive and ambition to learn quickly and be proactive as you start your career as a Dealing Executive
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• The motivation and innovation to work in a risk-orientated role
• A positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment
• Dealing experience would be great, but not essential as training will be provided
• A solid understanding of the financial sector and the financial markets would be advantageous
