LGV Mechanic – March – Attractive salary
ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit an LGV Technician/Mechanic with immediate effect for our client based in the March area of Cambridgeshire.
LGV Mechanic:
You will be Responsible for the effective maintenance of the Transport fleet. Day to Day re-active and proactive maintenance of the Fleet taking direction from the Fleet manager.
Experience / Must Haves
Minimum of 2 years’ experience or qualification in motor mechanics such as City & Guilds Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a BTEC National Certificate in Vehicle Repair and Technology
Having excellent knowledge about motor technology and a strong interest in motor vehicles
Having good communication skills
Having good concentration when under pressure
Having good manual dexterity
Being methodical and organised and able to work to strict deadlines
Be able to work alone and follow instructions
Must have own transport and full UK driving licence
Fleet Maintenance – Repair and maintain fleet vehicles.
Performing the following tasks:
• Inspect vehicles to MOT standard
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
• Maintain current product knowledge and attend training courses as required
• Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
• Complete all paperwork as necessary
• Ensure all aspects of H&S working practices are adhered to
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
