LGV C+E Tramper Driver
Our client, based in Sheffield are urgently seeking LGV C+E Tramper drivers to work on a dedicated contract for one of their major customers.
The Role
Our client works with one of the leading building/plumbing components manufactures in the North of England. They are urgently seeking tramper drivers for an ongoing contract. This position is based in Sheffield and offers an immediate start.
You will be responsible for deliveries to various customers across the UK. This role will involve a minimum of 4 nights out per week and there may be some manual handling involved. The shift patterns are Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday.
Driver Profile
You will be required to:
* Be experienced in Tramping work.
* Be able to work with minimum supervision, but able to communicate any issues without delay to the transport office.
* Have a good experience of driving to all areas of the UK.
* Make both local and national deliveries in a time efficient and professional manner.
* Have good knowledge of the relevant WTD regulations and Drivers hours.
* Have a minimum of 12 months experience with no more than 6 points on your licence.
* Hold the relevant licences including a DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card for the role undertaken.
* Be flexible in start/finish times to suit the needs of the business.
* Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
The pay
* LGV CE Days £14.4 PH £14.00 LTD
* Overtime after 40 hours £16.00 PH £17.00 LTD
* Saturday £16.00 PH £17.00 LTD
The start times will vary in accordance with your delivery schedule.
