LGV 1 (C+E) Drivers Bonus Available

Our prestigious client based in Swindon is looking for professional HGV Class 1 drivers. You will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of automotive parts at various locations around the UK, shunting roles and local runs are also available. Due to the nature of the work there is a large amount of dock work, which involves following processes and set procedures.

This contract offers shifts from Monday to Sunday, however these are subject to change due to the customer’s requirements. There are shifts available 24 hours a day with regular start times, with many runs to choose from, so whatever time you like starting we can usually match your requirement. Peak days on this contract will be Monday to Thursday, however as the year goes on, they will be getting busier.

Our client works on strict time restrictions for collections and deliveries, so the successful candidates need to have excellent time management and people skills to ensure the job is carried out in a professional manor.

• Only drivers with HGV C+E licence will be qualified.

• You must of held your licence for a minimum of 2 year and you must have driven 180 days in the past year.

• You must have a digital tachograph card.

• No more than 6 penalty points for driving offences.

• Immediate start following successful assessment (assessment lasts approx 2 hours)

• Ad-hoc drivers also required.

We have just introduced an increased rate of pay: Salary £14.4 – £21.

Also, for future peak times we will be introducing an attendance bonus!
