An exciting opportunity to take on a key role within highly skilled team responsible for delivering a full suite of Electronics/Firmware design and development tools to over 500 engineers. Primarily based out of Luton (with hybrid working), the Tools Delivery Engineer will work as part of a cross site team to support, enhance and configure the tool chain to meet the increasingly advanced needs of the cutting edge developments of the UK Electronics teams.

Download, install, configure and manage all Design Tools for Electronics
Plan and manage the hardware and operating systems to support the tools.
Configure and manage flex-based software licensing from multiple vendors.
Collaborate to provide occasional cross-site support cover for Design Tools at UK sites.
Set up user accounts and project areas for end users
Assist end users in the resolution of day-to-day tool bugs raised via our Helpdesk.
Liaise with external vendors to achieve timely resolution of problems.
Work closely with our outsourced ICT delivery team to plan and implement OS changes and updates
Maintain existing documentation of the system.
Uphold the “One Leonardo” Design Tools strategy for the UK.
