The Position

We are currently looking to recruit a Legal Administrator to be based within our Property Management department at our head office in Loughton.

The Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of PMM & Head of Finance as needed, as well as carrying out general administrative duties. This particular position is based with Property Management Matters, who are the in-house property management service charge company for Galliard Homes.

Duties include:

  • Prepare and issue LPE01 Legal Packs.
  • Produce licenses for parking including issue of permits etc.
  • Issue pet permits.
  • Liaise with solicitors over change of ownership of leaseholders properties and chase relevant documents.
  • Process Notices of Assignment and Notices of Charge.
  • Update systems with change of address, telephone numbers and/addresses.
  • Assist the Credit Controller when necessary.
  • Respond to leaseholders requests for copy documents etc.
  • Carry our general administrative duties including answering the telephone, responding to queries from leaseholders and residents etc.
  • Take payments by debit/credit card over the telephone.

The Person:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • An understanding of leasehold properties.
  • A legal secretarial or administration background would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Good administration skills and an aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Able to converse by email, letter and telephone with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Team player willing to adapt in a challenging environment.
