Salary: £72,000 – £108,000 per year

Legal Advisor Counsel £ Hertfordshire M25

This position is a Legal Counsel role overseeing the legal responsibilities of the Group. You will help to develop and deliver full legal support, ensuring the group complies with its legal and governance requirements. This position will provide the legal support for the Group and will be a key member of the senior management team.

Responsible for guiding and actively supporting management in ensuring legal compliance in all areas of the business including but not limited to Commercial Contracts, GDPR, Group activities, Employment and potential Acquisitions.

Job Description:

* Reporting to and supporting the CEO

* Working alongside the CFO and other senior members of the management team

* Legal compliance for EMEA and USA as well as other territories throughout the World

* Setting internal governance policies

* Draft, negotiate and execute commercial contracts

* Anticipate issues, estimate risks and offer solutions to mitigate these risks

* Regularly communicating relevant legal information to the management team

* Reviewing and providing legal guidance on activities and internal policies, procedures and contracts, updating and redrafting as appropriate

* Dealing with the groups legal position across the business

* Providing legal guidance for HR practices and processes

* Responsibility for legal projects as directed by the management team

* Working with external legal counsel

* Legal support with all projects

* Data Protection Officer

Candidate Specification

Qualifications and experience

* Qualified solicitor with post qualification experience

* Degree in law and an understanding of commercial business practices

* Must have experience in a similar role

* Professional understanding of all the legal aspects of commercial contracts and employment law

* Experience of dealing with multi territories
