Lecturer in AAT

A further education college in the Mansfield area is seeking a AAT lecturer to teach on the AAT levels 2, 3 & 4 course.

We’re offering excellent hourly pay rates from £23.4, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is full time starting in September on a temporary basis until further notice with a possibility of becoming permanent. You’ll be located at the Mansfield campus, which is easily accessible, being close to the M1 and with public transport links just outside the college grounds. The college has excellent features and benefits available to workers including discounted gym memberships and salon treatments onsite!

Ideally you will have:
– A recognised teaching qualification e.g. DTLLS, PCET or QCF level 5 Diploma in Education
– A minimum of AAT Level 5 qualification
– GCSEs in English and Maths or level 2 equivalent
– Recent experience teaching AAT levels 2, 3 & 4
– Excellent subject knowledge within accounting
– A proven track record of consistently good/outstanding teaching
– The ability to engage different learners through a range of teaching resources
– A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
