Property Manager – Hove
£28-38k+ + Car/Car Allowance

Our client is an established and reputable property firm that prides itself in offering a professional and personal service to all its customers and clients alike. To build on their aim in delivering a service of the highest quality they are looking to build their team by recruiting experienced leasehold block management property manager ideally qualified to MIRPM (or approaching) to manage their portfolio of leasehold properties across from Chichester to Brighton but predominantly based in Hove.

As an experienced property manager / block manager with at least 2/3 years experience of managing a residential block property portfolio you will be: liaising with external contractors and responsible for ensuring that appropriate standards are being maintained, involved with setting and managing service charge budgets, attend board meetings, AGM’s and Directors meetings etc.

Duties Include:

• Making regular inspections of your portfolio of blocks to check on the condition of buildings, grounds, plant etc
• Liaising with resident directors, lessees, residents, contractors
• Preparing annual service charge budgets
• Instructing contractors for works of minor repair and/or maintenance
• Liaising with surveyors re major works
• Overseeing issue of Section 20 notices
• Dealing with insurance claims and associated works
• Supervising on site staff e.g. caretakers/concierge and contractors as appropriate
• Checking compliance with and enforcement of the terms of leases and statutory requirements.
• Attending residents meetings, board meetings and AGM’s
• Liaise with Accounts Department regarding outstanding service charges
