Job Description
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a nurturing and experienced Learning Mentor for a lovely Primary School based in Hodge Hill.
This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible and will continue on a long term ongoing basis.
This role will involve working with children across KS1 to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the classroom. You will be assisting children who have social, emotional, mental health and/or behaviour barriers who benefit from small group or 1:1 support to help them to achieve their learning goals and academic potential.

* Minimum rate of pay – £80.53
* Hours – 8:20am-4pm (term time only)
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- It is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role with primary aged children.
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
* Strong behaviour management skills are a must.

* Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide two professional child related references.
