PET-Xi Training are seeking a Learner Engagement Officer to join our team as a part of our successful and rapidly growing skills department, managing and administering the enrolment process for our dedicated training programmes.

Job Summary:

To support learners on their journey across PET-Xi funded courses, breaking down barriers to engage with learners, work closely with the Skills Recruitment Team, to ensure that they are enrolled on the right programme for their needs, and that they have a positive experience right from the start.

The post requires a high level of engagement, personal responsibility, initiative, and attention to detail.

Reports to: Senior Contract Manager

Key Responsibilities:

· Liaise with learners and their representatives to identify any barriers or additional needs that may affect their ability to participate in the training programmes.

· Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including support staff, trainers, and assessors, to ensure that appropriate support is put in place for learners.

· Provide information and guidance to learners about the support available to them, including access arrangements, reasonable adjustments, and specialist equipment.

· Ensure that all learner information is accurately recorded in the enrolment system, and that appropriate support plans are in place.

· Monitor the progress of learners attendance and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.

· Identify any issues or concerns that may affect the ability of learners to complete their training programmes and work with relevant stakeholders to address these.

· Respond to enquiries from prospective learners via phone, email, or in-person meetings.

· Guide prospective learners through the enrolment process and ensure that they have all the necessary information to make an informed decision.

· Provide accurate and up to date information about our dedicated training programmes, including course content, schedules, and certification.

· Work closely with the team to ensure that prospective learners are targeted and reached through effective marketing campaigns.

· Manage and update learner information in our enrolment system and ensure that all records are accurate and up to date.

· Assist in the preparation of enrolment reports as required.

· Provide exceptional customer service to learners and ensure that all enquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

· Maintain an excellent knowledge of the education and training sector and stay up to date with industry developments and trends. Attend team meetings, training sessions and other company events as required.

Experience and Education / Qualifications:

· Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification (Desirable)

  • Good Standard of English and Maths.
  • Proven experience in an enrolment or customer service role, preferably within the education and training sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with enrolment systems and databases.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
