Lead Mechanical Design Engineer required to work in a varied and technically challenging role. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a global reputation during a busy period of growth.

The Candidate will have experience in mechanical design of process machinery and be familiar with DFMEA and stress analysis.

The successful candidate will take on a lead role within an existing team and will be involved in concept-based design and modification. You will be utilising where possible aspects of existing machine designs to achieve the desired solution to meet the customer’s requirements.

This manufacturing company is growing from strength to strength and requires additional staff to deal with the increased volume of business.

The Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Role:

* Concept and re-modification based 3D design using Inventor.
* Project based work to include participation in technical reviews and conceptual design.
* Interface with other engineering team members, departments and customers.

The Lead Mechanical Design Engineer:

* Will be an experienced designer with experience on any 3D CAD package
* Will have a strong mechanical engineering knowledge and will have worked on the design of machinery.
