If you’re passionate and a highly experienced Data Developer / Power BI SME and you’re seeking a new role in Coventry, we want to hear from you today. Page Group is helping an agile and collaborative company recruit a Senior Data / BI Developer for a full-time role, and the technology role comes with an attractive salary of up to £66,000.
You will join an international company specialising in aerospace and energy engineering with a flexible hybrid working arrangement requiring 1-2 days per week onsite.
In your first few months in this Senior Power BI Developer role, you can expect to:
- Manipulate datasets and feeds to create meaningful dashboards with interactive features that can be used by business users using approved Data Visualisation tools (currently SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI)
- Define requirements, and documentation and conduct thorough testing of prioritised business requirements helping to provide value, actionable and measurable insight from data visualisations.
- Provide support of the dashboards to the business users during implementation and after the solution Go-Live and, act as a liaison between users of the solution and any technical assistance or support that is required.
- Promote Innovation and continual improvement across the team and use proof of concepts to help evolve and support future technologies and create more efficient and effective reporting solutions.
To apply and be successful in this Senior Power BI Developer role, you will need a minimum of 5 years in Data Visualisation roles with knowledge and hands-on demonstrable experience of various toolsets, including one or more of the following; Power BI (ideally), SSIS / SSRS (essential), Azure Cloud (desirable). You will also require the following:
- Advanced knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse and Reporting solutions (e.g. Data Lakes, ETL, SQL etc).
- Excellent inclusive communication skills with the ability to extract information and ‘sell’ solutions across all levels whilst building engaging relationships with others across the business.
- The ability to assess the integrity of information and act accordingly to prevent data errors and ensure the highest levels of reporting accuracy possible.
