Carrington West’s dedicated Town and Country Planning Recruitment Team operate UK wide and we are delighted to be assisting our client with their search for a Land Charges Officer to join a fantastic Local Authority in the South East as an initial 3 month contract.

The Role
Dealing with all aspects of land charge matters including registration, updating records, dealing with enquiries for searches for both general public and solicitors and related land searches

Duties

·Entering details for the Local Land Charges Register
·Actioning Requisitions
·Reporting to Land Charges Manager
·Liase with outside bodies and internal departments to enable searches
·Dealing with telephone based enquiries
·Assistance with Planning Enquiry aspect of searches for the Land Charges staff working within Planning Services
·Updating footpath diversion details

Expertise

The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with Land Charges and have experience of working with TLC and Uniform systems.

Salary – £13.8 – £17.4per hour
