Land Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Land Buyer to work for a highly reputable and award winning care provider. Reporting to the Estates and Development Director, the Land Buyer is responsible for the identification and acquisition of immediate and longer term land opportunities for care homes and related developments. Undertake initial appraisals of sites, assessing the local care home market, build costs, abnormal costs and planning gain contributions.

Role will include:

Identification and acquisition of sites, assisting in project acquisition including, due diligence, market research, offer, contract, purchase, planning to pre-start on the sites acquired
Maintain and expand of the development team’s contact base, eg, commercial agents, land agents, developers and land owners
Assist the Estates and Development Director on projects and with other relevant duties as required
Produce professional due diligence and Board packs
Ensure accurate bids are placed for sitesEssential criteria:

Full UK driving licence due to the travel involved in the role
Familiar with all aspects of land purchase (maximisation of offer, market research, technical, commercial disciplines) – sales, commercial, technical, design, legal aspects
