My client is currently looking to hire an experienced Children’s Social Worker for their Looked After Children team.

In this role you will be responsible for undertaking viability and kinship assessments, preparing looked after children reports, reviewing and implementing care plans, participating in team meetings and liaising with partnership agencies. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of relevant procedures, have experience of direct work with children, the ability to undertake high quality assessments, be able to form good working relationships with colleagues, children and young people and other professionals.

If you have two years post-qualified experience in a Children’s Social Work environment, please apply. In return you will receive a high rate of pay, a long term contract of at least 6 months, and a supportive team manager who will offer 1-1 supervision and guidance. Flexible working may be negotiated.
