Hours: Mon to Fri, 07:30 – 16:00 Full Time – Permanent

Salary: £26,000 per year DOE, Plus Holidays & Pension

Location: Snetterton, Norfolk 

Driver Hire Norwich are currently recruiting for a hard working labourer / van delivery driver for a permanent position based in Snetterton, Norfolk. This is a very physically demanding job, but the reward is full time, permanent employment with an excellent, forward thinking company in the Green Energy sector.

The Client:

• Established in 2016, based in the Green Energy sector, running a current fleet of 5 delivery vehicles from 3.5t to 32T. Their business continues to grow at a fast rate, and they are now seeking someone to join their growing team growing team based at their store site in Snetterton.

The Role:

• To bag up & deliver wood pellets, approximately 2 tonne per day – in 15kg bags
• To load all bagged pellets onto a 3.5t van
• To deliver in and around East Anglia, 2 to 3 deliveries per day,
• To unload and stack bagged pellets at the clients premises as required / requested
• To ensure the yard is kept clean and tidy
• To receive incoming bulk deliveries

Skills / Attributes:

• Hard working, and physically fit – this is a very physically demanding role
• Organised, with good time management skills
• Professional, trustworthy, courteous and reliable
• Enjoy working in a small driven team
• Dynamic and flexible approach to working
• Able to prioritise workload
• Professional and mature attitude, with responsible, solid work ethic
• Happy to work alone at times
• Fork Lift Truck Licence and advantage, but not essential
