Labourer (Computer Technician)

KES Solutions UK Ltd are working on behalf of one of our clients who require temporary labour throughout the summer. This role is based in multiple new build schools throughout the North East and will involve moving all of the PCs and electrical equipment to their new premises.

Duties of the role;
• Boxing up, shifting and lifting of PC equipment
• Working from job list to ensure every computer is removed, stored and replaced correctly
• Unloading and plugging in of equipment, ensuring PC functions – no programming is required

This will be a quite fast paced role as there are a large number of PCs to assemble. In order to apply you must be confident in how to connect a PC.

Must have;
• CSCS card – you must have the card to be allowed on site
• DBS check

If you do not already hold both of the above you would need to apply for these in advance of the contract starting.

The role will be ideal for students who are looking for full time work during the summer holidays, although of course all other applicants are welcome.

The position is expected to start at the end of July and to last 6 weeks. Hours of work are 8 – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 2.30pm Friday with a Salary: of £26,000per year depending on experience.
