Labourer

We are looking for operatives to assist our installers installing underfloor heating systems. Their role will consist of the following.
– Meeting at our office/unit to collect materials and paperwork for days work with their supervisor
– Offloading materials/deliveries on site
– Preparing floor areas to receive floor insulation/mesh
– Laying insulation/mesh to floor areas
– Laying of plastic membrane and edge strip to working areas
– Installing underfloor heating systems
– Have the ability to read working drawings
– Have the ability to use power tools correctly
– Work well in a team
– Work on their own initiative and not always waiting to be told what to do next
– Must hold valid cscs skills card
– Have good communication skills to be able to speak with main contractors as well as home owners
– Must be punctual, hardworking and reliable
– Must be flexible
– Must be able to work away up to 4 nights a week if needed but is it rare
– Must have own safety boots, other PPE to be provided by Thermo-Floor

If staying over night, accommodation will be paid for and £20 will be supplied to each candidate for 3 meals per day.
The right candidate must be reliable and if able to prove themselves so, this position can lead on to a lot more work in the future.

Majority of starts are from 6am in mornings and are paid a annual salary of £26,000a day regardless of hours worked.
