Are you looking for a lab based R & D role, working at the forefront of civil engineering with exposure to technically interesting projects in a state of the art site testing site?

On offer is an excellent opportunity for a lab technician to join a global leader in civil engineering in a close knit team offering a practical and hands on role with lots of training.

This global company develop, design and manufacture ground stabilisation products for use across the world, with the business in many branches of civil engineering. They have pioneered many innovations in their field and are continuously looking to push the frontiers of what’s thought possible in the industry.

Reporting to the Technology Manager in this role, you will be operating, maintaining and developing the company’s trafficking testing laboratory. You will provide performance data on the company’s products to support sales into the global market. With exposure to new product development, you will be working with clay, aggregates, the company’s products and other materials in a state of the art site.

The ideal applicant will have lab based research and development experience and be looking to join a market leading specialist civil engineering company.

The Role

*Testing and Development Technician, R & D from a state of the art laboratory
*Analytical, role with test procedure modification and report input
*Active role building, measuring, testing, excavating test sections from materials
*Sourcing and testing materials in different conditions to establish settlement in soil
* £26,000 – £29,000 + Training + Progression + Pension

The Person

*Educated to at least A level in engineering discipline
*Looking for lab based R & D role with multinational market leader
*Seeking practical hands on work
