Job Summary;

To carry out the efficient function of the warehouse, operations to ensure the smooth flow of goods inwards and outwards. The role initially will be Monday to Friday 40 hours per week between the hours of 06:30 to 17:00. The role will be moving to our new Factory in Grazebrook Park, Brierley Hill in June at which point the shift pattern will change rotating shifts between the hours of 06:00 and 19:00pm.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Goods inwards – dealing with deliveries, ensuring all stock is checked off against the original purchase order, notifying appropriate personnel of any shortfalls or damages relating to the delivery immediately. Driving and assisting with deliveries and installations when required.

· Check and receive deliveries into the warehouse. Notifying appropriate personnel of any shortfalls or damages relating to the delivery immediately

· Correctly pick stocks for despatch from appropriate instruction. Ensuring that all items required for each delivery teams load are present and correct in time for loading.

· Ensure that all goods are stored in an appropriate manner, correctly located and clearly identified.

· Carry out monthly, quarterly and annual stock takes of all stocks at specified times

· Carry out Pre-delivery Inspection of all products for despatch to customers to ensure that they are operating correctly and free of damage

· Report any PDI failures to appropriate personnel immediately.

· Maintain good housekeeping. Ensuring the correct disposal of recyclable materials and other rubbish.

· Ensure that all necessary paperwork is accurately completed to accompany any goods leaving the premises via couriers or to be returned to suppliers.

· Load and unload vehicle using a Forklift truck

· Van driving as and when required to destinations specified on the delivery schedule, efficiently installing products and to upsell company products

· Work in a safe manner with due care for the safety of yourself and others within your working environment.

· Any other duties as deemed necessary

Essential Experience and Skills:

Must hold full driving license;

Fork Lift Truck / Counter Balance/ Reach License

Prior experience in a similar environment

IT Literate

Ability to multi-task and working to deadlines

Ability to work on own and as a team member

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

28 days holiday per year. Additional holiday awarded on length of service.

Based in Droitwich moving to Brierley Hill in June 2023
