Stock Controller

Keltbray is the UK’s largest distribution woodpole contractor, delivering refurbishment and construction services to six of the seven DNO customers across the UK.

Delivering multi-year frameworks and capital projects from LV to 132kV, we are also able to respond to system emergencies for all our clients to assist them in returning their network to service during storms.

Due to a new contact win covering the maintenance, refurbishment and construction of LV – 33kV OHL in the Suffolk and Norwich of area East Anglia over the next 5 years we are looking to strengthen our team with a Stock Controller.

Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Manage stock levels ensuring the correct material is readily available.
  • Provide accurate stock information and complete monthly stock checks.
  • Procure materials, PPE, plant and equipment in the most cost effective.
  • Maintain the hire report for Plant & Fleet.
  • Purchase of all Tools, Equipment & PPE
  • Relevant data inputting / order processing
  • Preparing materials for collection of site teams and offloading deliveries.
  • To assist in building excellent relationships with Supply Chain both internal and external.
  • Attending meetings where required in support of contractual work and keeping up to speed with available products.
  • Skills and experience required.

Knowledge of Coins or Sage

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office, Outlook and Google apps
  • Worked as a Stores Person within the Electricity Industry with good knowledge of Electricity Industry components.
    Forklift Licence
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised, able to self-motivate and manage a busy and varied workload.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
