Trident Overhead Linesmen

Due to a large volume of incoming work for the upcoming years, Keltbray Energy (Transmission) are looking to recruit experienced Foremen, Chargehands, LE1, and LE2 Overhead Linesmen and Excavator Operators.

Work will be on heavy construction overhead wood pole lines ranging from 33kV to 132kV.  These will predominantly covering SPEN and SSEN but all UK DNO’s are covered by Keltbray Energy.

Duties will include:

• Being a key part of an Overhead Line team to erect poles, wiring new routes and carry out any other overhead line work that may be required.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient implementation of Keltbray’s operations.
• Carrying out and complete the works to stringent high safety standards set by Keltbray and the Client. This includes, working in line with all RAMS, SHEQ policy, work at height policy, as well as DNO and Keltbray golden rules.
• Report any concerns regarding SHEQ to the SHEQ team and your manager.

Requirements:

• Experience of Overhead Heavy Construction Overhead Wood pole lines 33kV to 132kV.
• SPEN or SSEN authorisations would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Full driving licence
• A HGV license would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Excavator Operator
• MEWP certificate would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Pole Top Rescue would be advantageous, but not essential.
• First Aid at Work would be advantageous, but not essential.
• SHEA Power would be advantageous, but not essential.
