Our client is an award winning top fifty integrated B2B marketing agency located close to Oxford with an impressive list of clients. They provide marketing, design and digital services to a wide range of excellent clients on a national and international basis.

Due to continued success they are looking for a Junior Motion Designer with excellent video editing and vector illustration skills to join the growing team.

You will need to be an enthusiastic and talented motion design all-rounder with an eye for great design and an uncompromising desire to create outstanding videos and motion graphics. Your role will include working under the guidance of the Motion Director and 3D Designer to edit short videos and create animations and motion graphics across a range of different brands and industries. There will also be opportunities for you to apply your vector illustration skills to support broader creative campaign applications such as brand imagery, infographics and data visualisation.

Role & responsibilities
• Work closely with the Motion Director and talented creative team – and occasionally external specialists – to design and produce motion graphics, animations and videos.
• Be involved at all stages of the creative process – from interpreting the brief, through to developing a storyboard, creating a visual style, and producing motion content suitable for application across multiple devices.
• Use your specialist knowledge of motion design and vector illustration, to actively contribute to team creative brainstorms.
• Take responsibility for multiple tasks and projects to ensure they are all delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Technical skills & experience
• Excellent knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects.
• Proficiency in video, sound editing and post production applications like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition and SpeedGrade.
• Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud applications and workflows – and 3D applications like 3ds Max and Cinema 4D – would be a big advantage.
• Previous agency experience, within a creative or digital environment, would be a bonus but not essential as this is a junior role which would suit a recent graduate.
• Excellent layout, colour, typography, illustration, storyboard and animation skills combined with a positive ‘can-do’ highly organised approach.
• A genuine passion for all things design and motion related with a relentless desire to push the boundaries of motion design.
