Salary: £28,800 – £38,400 per year
The Role
We are looking for a smart, proactive and digital-savvy Junior Project Manager to join our team.
You will be a confident and technically-aware individual; able to build relationships with internal technical, creative and client-facing teams; credible, confident and knowledgeable with clients; and have the determination (and ability) to bring projects in on time, on budget and exceeding client expectations.
You’ll also have a passion for all things digital, have a familiarity with web, email, social and mobile, a curiosity for all things new, and the ability to focus on the nuts and bolts – because when delivering a project, it’s the details that count
Core responsibilities for the role are as follows:
Support and manage the delivery of one-off projects and on-going business-as-usual activity
Act as the technical delivery point of contact for colleagues and clients
Provide technical delivery input to any required pre-sales and creative development activity
The Candidate
The role is hands-on and requires a combination of technical understanding, task management, project delivery.
You should have a high desire to learn and relish the challenge of tackling new areas. Comfortable working to tight timescales, you will also be able to work with a minimum of management oversight.
You’ll enjoy working in a fast paced environment, where the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to defined objectives is key.

Responsibilities
As a key member of the Technical & Delivery team, your main responsibilities will be:
Act as a liaison point between various internal and external stakeholders including clients; internal Client Services, Creative and Delivery teams; third party suppliers and other client agencies
Manage, or support the management of, assigned project teams and individuals, briefing them on the project requirements and deliverables to ensure full understanding and seamless delivery whilst proactively assisting the business to identify upcoming conflicts and resource gaps
Produce and maintain project documentation (SoWs, estimates/quotes, status reports, project plans, risk and issue logs, and change control forms)
Support the production of project specifications, requirements and schedules
Maintain project plans to manage (wholly or in part) new projects and then manage on-going project timelines, monitoring and maintaining internal and external milestones
Manage, or support, the effective closure of projects, ensuring that all criteria have been met, conducting post implementation reviews to evaluate performance and produce handover project documentation to ensure efficient on going management of project deliverables
Skills and Competencies
Whilst the below are all skills that are desirable for the role it is recognised that, given the required experience, you may not have direct experience of all of these and whilst a knowledge of these would be advantageous, an appreciation of mobile and digital and a desire to gain such knowledge is just as desirable.
You’ll have demonstrable commercial experience working on projects in the Digital or Mobile Marketing industry
Ideally, you will be familiar with Digital disciplines such as Web, Email, Social, SEO and Digital advertising as well as Mobile
You will also have a familiarity of different project methodologies
You will have experience with Project Management tools and software including MS Project, Jira and Confluence (or equivalent)
You’re technically competent, able to work with Developers, Business Analysts and Technical Architects to understand what is and isn’t technical feasible
And you have an understanding of other Digital disciplines such as UX, IA and Design
Experience and education
Your experience should be commensurate with the role and in addition, the following is desired:
Degree educated (min. upper second class or the equivalent)
1-3 years relevant experience – ideally in a similar role
