Junior Marketing Assistant

Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year

Junior Marketing Assistant required for our well-respected client based in Colchester. This is a great opportunity for someone with some marketing experience looking for a new position where they have the opportunity to progress and develop in their marketing career. As junior Marketing assistant you will be responsible for assisting and producing email marketing campaigns, updating social media, general website administration and other marketing administration duties. It is essential for this position that you possess some marketing experience, an understanding of social media and ideally some experience and/or an understanding of SEO and PPC.

The Role

• Assist and produce email marketing campaigns

• Writing content for all the companies social media platforms 

• Review, track and report the analytics of emails, social media and website interaction 

• Maintaining and updating social media platforms

• Working in a team to deadlines

• Maintain companies’ website with general administration 

The Person 

• Some previous experience in marketing, especially email marketing, SEO & PPC would be an advantage.

• Previous social media experience across a range of platforms

• Strong interest to progress in a marketing role 

• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads whilst working in a varied role 

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter, able to operate independently and within a team
