Junior / Graduate Web Developer

Junior/Graduate Developer – Manchester City Centre -.NET – 15-26k

Great opportunity for a junior or graduate developer to get their feet on the ladder of a solid development career. This is a genuine Web Developer role, in a software house in the City Centre of Manchester.

You’ll be putting your knowledge into practice and they recruit on ability rather than ‘years of experience’.

There’s some great new features and projects to enhance their Web Based software portal, so they need to expand the team, and someone who can get stuck in to coding some of the new projects.

What do you need to know? You’ve got to have a solid grasp on the basics of ASP.NET programming within Visual Studio. We don’t mind how long you’ve used it, of course if you’ve got commercial experience in web development that will give you an edge, but most important is a good team/personal fit within a small company, and an ability to get stuck in.
Selection process involves technical interview about programming, and writing a bit of ASP.NET code, so you’d need to be able to prove your knowledge.

You will join a core development team based right in the heart of Manchester and working on ASP.NET and.NET 4.5 (although if you’re confident playing around inside Visual Studio, version isn’t going to matter much). So we need someone with a good grasp on.NET and solid ability to think for themselves. You’ll get on-job training and support from the CTO and other developers to polish your skills, but you’ve got to be comfortable working on projects at your own speed.
