Salary: £32,400 – £38,400 per year
Due to the continued success of this well-established Multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy, we are looking for an entry level/junior BIM/Revit MEP Technician to join the BIM team in their Newcastle office.

* A well-established, award winning, global, Multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy who specialise in a range of projects including mission critical data centres, hotels, and large-scale commercial developments.
* A very successful and well-established Consultancy who are at the forefront of BIM and boast some of the leading players in the field within their ranks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* The Junior Revit MEP/BIM Technician will be assisting with BIM and CAD coordination and daily involvement of project data sets/ workflows.
* The Junior BIM Coordinator will be working alongside and under senior members of the team that will be leading projects, meetings, and design reviews.
* Assisting with the delivering of full BIM coordination including usage of BIM360 and Clash Detection features
* The Junior BIM/ Revit MEP Technician will be implementing 3D coordination with the Design Team and have continuous training and support from the team in the use of Revit MEP.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
* Qualified to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) in BIM or building services engineering
* 6-18 Months of experience in a similar role either working on design projects for a consultancy or contractor
* The Junior MEP BIM Technician will possess practical experience of using Revit MEP in a similar building-based role.
* Good understanding of BIM Level 2 requirements on projects and working knowledge of reviewing and commenting on BIM Execution Plans (BEP’s) would be advantageous
* They will possess an understanding of relevant software packages including Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
* Experience of Dynamo, Grasshopper and BIM 360 would be beneficial but are not essential
