Salary: £78,000 – £96,000 per year

Maybe you already have 1-2 years of commercial experience in Android development or maybe you are a developer who codes android apps in your spare time. Either way, we would be keen to speak with you.

Its core product provides organisations across the globe with real-time visibility over field operations through executive dashboards and KPI reports, delivering increased operational efficiency and health & safety compliance. GeoPal was acquired by Totalmobile in March 2021.

GeoPal has developed a highly flexible & customisable mobile data capture solution used by some of the world’s top engineering firms. You’ll be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to help us maintain the product consistency our customers have come to expect.

You’ll work on a variety of different advanced Android projects as well as integrating the Android App with GeoPal’s web API and 3rd party systems.

GeoPal is one of six companies that Totalmobile has acquired over the last four years. This will bring a lot of opportunities to advance within the company and to work with different teams and tech stacks.

Essential Skills
Ideally, you’ll have 1-2 years of experience working with Android in a commercial environment. However, if you can showcase android apps you have developed in your own time, we will consider you. You’ll have practical knowledge of MySQL, REST APIs, and Git combined with an understanding of Object-Oriented principles & good code design.

You’ll be joining a highly collaborative environment and you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the future direction of the core product. We listen to our development team in regards to the tech stack and future improvements.
