A financial services company are looking for an experienced Java Python Developer to sit within their technical Front office teams.

You will join a first-class Development team, having an integral part in the companies growth developing one of their key products, which will be used by international financial organisations. You will be part of a next generation software-development team, who are responsible for creating innovative frameworks of their own.

This will be a great opportunity to build your knowledge of financial products, and the role offers the chance to join an extremely successful development team, offering the successful candidate to be challenged and to learn, so any out of industry experience is accepted.

You must show a genuine interest and passion for python programming, as the role involves being technically hands-on to the technical build out of solutions using Java and Python. Successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, and will be involved in the software design space.

Skills Required:

* Server-side Java

*Python experience

* Linux (Unix), very comfortable working with all the common CLI tools (vi, grep,

* RDB / SQL

* Financial Trading Systems implemengtation experience

* 5+ years indusrtry experience

* Good computer science degree

* Distributed Event-Driven Systems (Unix networking, sockets, NIO, queues, message buses, SOAP, Thrift)
