This well established Company provides solutions and support to the Telecoms and Media arena and are looking for a Java Developer to join their vibrant software team.

This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to act as a key contributor in the design and development of their software product, working with the latest technology in a small and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:-

• Clearly interpret business needs with regards to technical specification documents and perform coding to fulfil requirements

• Manage the development of SOA system to support new RIA interfaces and its features.

• Develop new features and functions to high quality and agreed specification

• Provide 3rd level support to the professional services team and support desk.

• Provide proof of concept development to support business initiatives

• Additionally there will be a need to re-engineer the existing Perl core system and migrate it to the new Java based business layer.

Essential Skills and Experience:-

*SOA, EJB3, EJB3.1, REST, SOAP, Java EE6 stack including Hibernate, JPA, JTA, JAX-WS.
*Understanding of MVC architecture
*Previous experience of working with Web Services
*SQL
