Japanese Translator
* Sunderland
* Permanent staff position
* Monday to Friday, 7.45am – 4.30pm (flexibility required)
* £40,800 – £46,800 per annum DOE
A fluent Japanese and English-speaking Interpreter/Translator is required to support at a site in Sunderland. You will be working with various senior engineers and managers from Japan visiting the Sunderland site, providing interpretation and translation support for all manner of meetings, presentations, calls and documentation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Translate documents between Japanese and English
* Interpret within meetings, conversations and presentations between Japanese and English
* Accurately convey conversations
* Ensure smooth communication in meetings and presentations
Required Skills & Experience
* Fluent in Japanese and English.
* Prior experience as an interpreter and translator, preferably in an engineering/manufacturing environment
* Document and verbal interpretation skills
* A high level of confidentiality and professional integrity
