IT Support

We are seeking an experienced IT / System Support professional with a background that includes server / network maintenance.

Our client is a provider of data and information to the automotive industry as a SaaS platform, they are seeking an IT Support Specialist / IT Support Administrator to join their European office providing fast and effective IT and System support to their team. Our ideal candidate will combine their hands-on experience with an outgoing and approachable communication style.

Salary €37-50k +30 days holiday + gym pass + access to Linked-in Learning

The Candidate:

  • Our ideal candidate will have a recognised IT qualification.
  • A fluency in both German and English.
  • Experience with an ITIL service management software: ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, ZenDesk, ZoHo ServiceDesk, Jira, CA Service Desk, LANDESK, HPSM.
  • Hands-on experience in computer network and telecoms troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting users in an Office 365 organization.
  • A problem-solving approach is required alongside a desire to fix things in fast but effective manner is a must for this role!

The Role:

  • Provide customer service and technical training as needed to all users.
  • Support software development and operations teams on support tickets and/or incidents.
  • Provide advanced support to the PC Support and Service Desk teams.
  • Provide strong Tier 1 and 2 support for the service desk support team.
  • Analyze/troubleshoot desktop, general application, and network issues.
  • Document, track and monitor technical issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide remote and onsite computer hardware and software setup, repair, upgrading, and troubleshooting support.
  • Assist with maintaining master software repositories for hardware drivers/firmware, OS and application patches, and software updates.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance from end users via telephone, email and ticketing system.
