Calling all aspiring IT Support Technicians, Polygon are looking for an apprentice to join our team!
If you have skills in customer service, are confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for IT this exciting new opportunity will be the first step in your career.
This role is suitable to anyone looking to start their IT career.
Duties will include;
To complete the initial diagnosis of all incidents and either resolve to the customers satisfaction or escalate to appropriate IT team member Provide remote assistance using remote support tools e.g., phone, instant messaging etc To install or reinstall software and to image or reimage computers and handheld devices locally or using remote deployment tools.
You will be learning about the following whilst progressing through the apprenticeship:
- PC architecture, installation and configuration
- Helpdesk essentials
- Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and network fundamentals
- Advanced networking, mobile and peripheral devices
- OS installation, configuration, maintenance and automation
- Advanced security concepts and methodology
- Microsoft and google vendor content
As part of a valued IT Team, you will support the everyday operations and challenges of our modern-day team.
As part of this opportunity, you will receive training from your fellow colleagues to help you achieve your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification throughout the 16-month training course.
This position will be based at our HQ in Huntingdon alongside the other members of the IT Team. The off the job training will equate to 20% of your working week and includes:
- Online learning
- ???????Coaching with a skills coach
- Live sessions
- Project work
- Development days and the collection and presentation of your portfolio.
