IT Support Engineer
Job Description
My Client has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join their team in Falmouth. This role would suit someone with experience providing 1st, 2nd, and some 3rd-line support internally. Someone who has been supporting computer networks, and users would be great, as well as being confident dealing with escalations from the helpdesk both remotely and in person.
This role offers the opportunity to progress into a Junior IT Manager role as the current IT Manager is planning on retiring within the next few years. No IT Management experience is needed for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support users with Desktop support issues remotely and in person
- Install, manage/maintain the network, as well as network performance.
- IT-related infrastructures including but not limited to, servers, switches, firewalls, telephones, CCTV, Access Management
- Support IT Manager with backup/disaster recovery plan for a network emergency – Backup software, NAS & Tape
- Support IT Manager with the Broadband Provision and wide-area network
