IT Infrastructure Technician

Looking for an enthusiastic and qualified IT Infrastructure Technician to join this growing infrastructure team. Part of a team of 4 responsible for supporting the current infrastructure and delivering projects. Based in Bristol with occasional travel to our other offices in both the UK and abroad as an when required.

The prospective candidate would be expected to take part in an On-please apply a regular basis. Standard working hours for this role would be 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Occasionally during projects working outside of these hours will be required.

Job Role

Implementation of Projects and day to day support of existing infrastructure.
Assisting support team with escalations.

Delivering a HA flexible infrastructure to the business that also supports rapid growth.

Carrying out scheduled maintenance as required to keep in line with best practice and compliance requirements.

Senior role within a small but growing team.

Experience required:-

SAN Management and implementation

VMWare vSphere 5. VMWare vCentre. Active Directory

Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012

Microsoft Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013

Networking Switching and routing

Desirable over and above:-

VMWare Qualified. Cisco ASA

Extreme Networks. Dell EqualLogic

HP Server Hardware

Windows Remote Desktop Services / Terminal Services in a commercial environment
