Our client is one of the great historic schools of England that occupies a magnificent site of 250 acres on the outskirts of Godalming.
A full time, permanent position has arisen at this School for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Technician.. The IT department is a busy department, responsible for the delivery and support of all IT, telecommunications and access control systems across the campus.
The IT Technician will provide end user support, maintenance of current systems and infrastructure support for the School. The ideal candidate will be well versed in IT systems including a mixture of servers 2014 – 2019, Windows 10, SQL, Office 365, wireless, printers etc

IT Technician – Person Specification
Essential is:
Experience of Microsoft Operating System installation and support
Experience of Microsoft Application Software installation and support
Experience of hardware installation and support in a networked environment
Strong Windows 10 and Office 365 skills and support experience
Strong customer support skills
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience supporting different AV setups
Basic knowledge of IP Telephony
Experience supporting iPhones, iPads, Android and other mobile devices.
Working Arrangements
Working days for this role are Monday to Friday, normally 08.30-17.00h(plus one hour unpaid for lunch) throughout the year. A willingness to be flexible in working hours is essential.
