About the Role

  • The salary for this role is from £46,300 – £54,310 plus car/allowance ( up to £8,344) up to 10% bonus, healthcare, pension.

What will I be doing?

  • Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing a wide range of goods and services , hardware and software, within the procurement team, negotiating prices with local, national and international suppliers, implementing and communicating agreements to operational management and monitoring supplier performance.
  • IT Category Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware and software licensing contracts.
  • Works with IT and Project Management teams in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of SUEZ. Also works with Legal department when drafting licensing agreements.
  • Ensures contract performance and writes amendments as necessary. Ensures that projects milestones and goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders and other members of the procurement team to ensure both customer and business expectations and objectives are met.

What are the requirements?

  • You must have a solid understanding technology and leading innovation software.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of department process and at least 5+ years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
  • You must be MCIPS qualified.
  • The position will require a degree of flexibility in terms of travel, and in meeting business deadlines.
  • You will be required to have a full UK driving licence.
