Internal Quality Assurer

My client is the UK’s leading provider of integrated training, event and learning solutions and they have an exciting vacancy for a UK wide Internal Quality Assurer who will be responsible for a team of 3 assessors who will be undertaking assessment of the Higher Apprenticeship framework.

The Role:

To monitor the Quality Assurance process in line with company policies and procedures and Awarding Organisation requirements.
To support and develop the assessment team to enable them to meet company targets and minimum levels of performance.
To monitor assessment practice against Awarding Organisation and organisational requirements.
To promote SMART assessment practices to ensure assessors can operate within their agreed timely completion rates.
Monitor and maintain all documentation including sampling plans.
Moderate all assignment based work according to AO standards
Complete Quality Assurance observations.
To ensure that all complaints and appeals are responded to in a timely manner, in line with the company Complaints and Appeals procedures.
Attend Awarding Organisation EQA visits as required to maintain Direct Claims status.
Support the delivery of staff development programmes and provide support through the induction process to all assessment staff.Experience:

Minimum of 3-4 years occupational experience in Higher apprenticeships; Professional Business & Administration, HNC moderation and verification.
Proven track record in successful delivery and verification of Higher Apprenticeship programmes
Occupational competency within the NVQ & HNC delivery and verification of the L4 Business and Professional Administration Higher Apprenticeship Framework.
You must have at least 2 years occupational experience of working in the industry and be (D32/D33 or A1 and D34 or V1 qualified/ TAQA) or equivalent.
Driving license essential
Ability to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision.**Please note, this role has a lot of UK travel between London, Birmingham and Manchester. You must be happy to drive and stay away. You can be based in either of these 3 locations.
