Internal Moderator / Verifier

To ensure the internal assessment, verification and moderation of the companys programmes are aligned with awarding body and organisational requirements. To support and develop the assessment team, quality moderate and support highlighted improvements to practice.

Requirements:

Essential

Own computer and have reliable internet access

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

D32/33/34 or A1/V1 or equivalent training/assessment related qualification

Qualifications Credit Framework knowledge

Appropriate quality assurance frameworks e.g. Common Inspection Framework

Proven ability in planning and meeting time, cost and quality targets

Strong awareness and proactive approach to Health & Safety issues

Able to monitor and maintain records

Competent in use of Microsoft Word and Excel to a minimum of intermediate user level

Full driving licence and access to the use of a car – not required in London

CRB check required

Desirable

Funding streams including SFA and private funding etc.

Public sector programme provision and associated funding mechanisms

Working knowledge of H&S legislation and employment law

Skilled in Customer liaison, e.g. with SFA and private organisations etc

Able to ensure contractual compliance and provide financial and performance information to agreed specifications
