Prince Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for a prestigious company whose Head Office is based in Telford. This is a 12 month interim contract to cover maternity leave, where you would be responsible for managing a marketing team and working under the direction of the Head of Marketing to develop marketing strategies to meet company objectives. Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the Brand Marketing Executives, Digital Marketing Executive, External PR Consultant and Social Media Activities to ensure both internal and external communication is in line with the business and corporate directives
• Control the marketing A&P budget for both brands, ensuring all activities are completed within agreed budgets and provides monthly budget tracking reports
• Collaborate with Field Marketing Managers for market insight data to propose effective strategies and campaigns to meet the business goals and objectives
• Support the Head of marketing in the preparation of the annual marketing plan and take responsibility for the implementation of agreed activities.
• Proactive in sourcing new ideas and initiatives to promote the brands and associated products
• Make recommendations for new business development opportunities including new target customer accounts, new product ranges or specific promotional opportunities
• Provide monthly tracking information including reconciliation of expenditure against budgets and forecasted spend for the remainder of the year.
• Represent the company at trade shows and events as specified by the Head of Marketing
• Prepare marketing strategy presentations and present at company and commercial meetings as required

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager who can demonstrate experience of leading a team. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational, planning and presentation skills. You will have proven ability to write concise and relevant copy for different audiences and have highly effective communication skills. Languages would be advantageous but not essential and some travel will be required.
