Interim Head of Development – (Contract) – Leeds

Our client a large e-commerce organisation are looking for a Interim head of Development to manage the software teams until they find a permanent member of staff, following the post becoming unexpectedly vacant.

Overseeing a team of developers, project managers, QA’s, business analysts and designers you will be responsible for the effective delivery and maintenance of the organisations in house software.

You will be responsible for managing the in-house / offshore development team, 3rd party development / infrastructure companies, keeping contractual runners in order and making sure targets are met and delivered. This is a focal point role of the business and you will be required to liaise with all levels of Directors and suppliers to ensure requirements are on target and within budget so strong personality / communication skills are key.

Essential:

* Technical development background in: C# / ASP.NET / jQuery / MVC
* Agile methodology – SCRUM certifications/experience massively beneficial
* Prince II Practitioner / Project management
* Managed a team of developers sized 10 – 30 dev’s
* Managed offshore development resources
