Interim Assistant Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim Assistant Management Accountant to join a leading chilled food manufacturer. The role would be on a fixed term contract basis for a 6 month period. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant who;
Has good communication skills and is confident to interact with other departments around the business
Has good attention to detail
Intermediate Excell skills
Is able to adapt quickly to new systems
Is a fast learner
Is AAT qualified or CIMA qualified
Ideally has experience in FMCG

The main role accountabilities include;
To be responsible for the provision of weekly Management Accounts
To maintaine the resource elements on Protean
To develop management reporting systems, including sales information, to improve the acuracy and clarity of information
To aid the analysis of promotional activity
To reconcile Ifco credit notes
Support the Finance Team with the month end gross margin process
To be responsible for the maintenance of commercial information
