Insurance Reserving Actuary

Are you an experienced insurance reserving actuary looking for a challenging role within an established but quickly growing organisation?

My client is looking for somebody with at least 5 years insurance reserving experience, to take responsibility of the provision of reserving analysis and reporting to internal and external customers.

You will be an effective face to face communicator, able to work within a team, and possess a meticulous attention to detail. This will involve working to deadlines, and carrying out work of a highly numerical and analytical nature, so a relevant degree is essential, and additionally being a member of the institute of actuaries would be desirable.

The role can be based in London or Chelmsford and covers multiple insurance brands within a quickly developing group.

Required skills for a reserving actuary

* Ability to analyse, understand and interpret data from varying sources
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
* Excellent working knowledge of RESQ
* Knowledge of SAS programming an advantage
* Willing to develop knowledge of underwriting systems, products and procedures
* Professional and positive attitude
* Excellent attention to detail.

* Adhere to FCA, TCF and Data Protection Regulations
