Job Title: Insulin Pump Trainer – Diabetes – Nurses Required

Salary: £26,000 – £36,000per yearfor part time hours of 19.5 hrs per year

Territory: London/South East

The Role:

To provide training and in-servicing of the Insulin Pumps and ancillaries to relevant HCP’s (Healthcare Professionals) and patients.

To provide support to the Territory Managers in places where they have identified training needs.

To drive recommendations and use of products by providing support services and solutions to HCP’s when asked.

Increase market share in line with company expectations utilizing the services and support from across the company in accordance values.

Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities

Training of patients and HCPs (mainly nurses) as identified by the relevant territory manager.
Teaching and education of clinicians and patients.
Maintain up to date understanding of local diabetes market characteristics and business drivers.
As appropriate support your Territory Manager with their training needs.
Understand & Align specific Territory Activities.

The Person:

Registered General Nurse – RGN
A knowledge of diabetes would be an advantage
Knowledge of insulin pump therapy would be the ideal though not essential
Strong empathy to nursing staff and patients
Able to help transfer from daily injections to pump therapy
Flexible and hard working
