Installation Technician-Machine Tool

Our client is a family owned business established over 60 years ago and is a major European manufacturer of swarf conveyor and filtration coolant system solutions for the engineering, aerospace and rail industries, and also offer conveyor spare parts and a conveyor repairs service.
Offering full Uk coverage combined with supplying into mainland Europe and have also exported as far afield as Africa, Australia, and North America.
Due to expansion they have a requirement for an additional service/installation technician ideally from a machine tool background but not essential as you will require specific product training which could take up to 6 months working alongside one of their existing professionals.
Essential requirements are that you are both electrically and mechanically qualified and a working knowledge of hydraulics and associated plc controls both for installation and fault finding.
You will be flexible in your work approach as it will require extensive UK travelling and staying away during the week,combined with occasional overseas travel of up to 2 weeks at a time.
You will be personable and attentative to customer interaction and service with a smile and dedicated to getting the job done very much using your own initiative.
Anticipated earnings will be in excess of 40k+ per annum
