Salary: £38,400 – £50,400 per year

Workforce Battalion are currently recruiting multiple Ex Military Industrial Field Engineers for our client with an International Client base.
You must be willing and able to travel on short notice and for 1-2 weeks at a time
You will work within central automation engineering directly support the Product Engineers with all in field activities. They maintain in depth, practical product knowledge across all of our products both developed in house and externally sourced. Directly supporting the product engineers for other teams (in particular, MSC, Implementation & engineering operations) during the manufacture, install & commissioning phases of new CFC’s. Providing ongoing product support to Engineering Ops and Continuous Improvement teams. You will need to be able to resolve any engineering issues as well as providing valuable feedback to head office based Product Engineers & technical support colleagues.
Experience, Skills Required.
* Field Engineering – demonstrable experience & success
* Installation & commissioning of complex products and / or systems
* Acceptance Testing
* Deliver projects on time and within approved budgets
* IT literate, proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
* Excellent technical and practical competence relating to automation and general engineering
* Experience of projects and products in manufacturing, automotive, airports, FMCG distribution or similar field
* Aptitude to debate detail (both technical and commercial) with both internal and external parties
* Skilled in use of small hand tools
* Comfortable using field test & measurement equipment e.g. DMM
* Work in a safe manner at all times and appreciate the implications and requirements of relevant product safety and compliance
* International working as an engineer
* Remote Product Support
* Appreciation of applicable directives, codes standards etc. (e.g. machinery directive)
* Technical / Engineering qualification, to HND level in a relevant field Automation Products require a range of specialisations, these can include (but not limited to).
* Mechanical structures
* Plastics moulding
* Functional safety
* Conveyor systems
* Electromechanical systems
* Robotics
