Inside Sales Administrator

Salary: £26,000 per year

Platform Resourcing are currently working alongside a successful manufacturing and engineering firm based in Cwmbran who are looking to take on an Inside Sales Executive. This is a full-time contract role, offering a competitive salary of between £26,000per year.

You will be a confident communicator as you will be working within the manufacturing areana to understanding capacity and request for quotations (RFQ’s).

* Hours 8.30am – 1.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 1.00pm on a Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Offering a consultative approach in dealing with new and existing clients

* First point of contact for new and existing client queries or issues, providing excellent help and support

* Understanding the client needs and requirements

* Understanding the company products fully to be able to offer the best advice

* Aiming to develop and build strong relationships with new customers

* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing customers

* Update customers on the status of their orders

* Working with suppliers to ensure stock is adequate to fulfil current orders

* Aiming to re-engage lapsed customer accounts

* Account managing large customer accounts

* Provide quotes and work with internal teams to ensure these are accurate

Essential Skills and Experience

* Excellent written and verabl communication skills

* Enthusatic and approachable

* Excellent and professional telephone manner

* Excellent and proven customer service skills

* Ability to generate quotations

* Order processing experience

* Office/Sales Admin experience preferably in Manufacturing

* Enthusiastic individual with good communication skills (ability to walk around the factory seeking answers if needed)

* Experience of logging RFQs would be extremely helpful

* Experience of pricing/quotes

* Excellent Microsoft office skills, especially Excel
